It is not very common nowadays that when we are commissioned to provide Sikh Wedding Photography in London where there is no wedding reception after the actual wedding ceremony.

Jaspreet & Indy wanted to focus on the deep meaning of the Sikh wedding ceremony, the Anand Karaj (blissful union). This was refreshing and gave us the opportunity to focus on the Anand Karaj to ensure we captured the essence and meaning of this beautiful ceremony. 

We met Jaspreet & Indy through a mutual friend in 2016. We connected really well from the first meeting and they had some great ideas and vision for what they liked in terms of wedding photography.  We were extremely excited that we may have the opportunity we work with this wonderful couple.

We met a few more times and exchanged emails refining the vision. We were delighted when Jaspreet and Indy decided to book us as their wedding photographers.

Jaspreet had travelled to India to find her perfect Indian wedding dress. The search took her to the flagship Sabyasachi store in Mehrauli, New Dehli. This is where Jaspreet fell in love with the perfect wedding dress which was created uniquely for Jaspreet by Sabyasachi himself. Matched with makeup and hair by Gini Bhogal Jaspreet was truly a beautiful Indian bride on the wedding day.

Indy sought out The Jodhpur Company in London to find the perfect outfit for himself. We must say, it was one of the most unique and amazing outfits we have seen! The Jodhpur Company specialise in modernising traditional English tailoring with a dash of the glory days of the Maharajas. Indy's outfit was completely bespoke and Indy's unique Kirpan was created just for him. Indy's Pagh was tied by the world famous Pagh Vala.

Rotimi (The Dread) was covering Indy and Dalbir (The Sikh) covered Jaspreet in the morning. We were working alongside cinematography team Chaz Fliy. the whole day just went wonderfully!

We were able to capture some beautiful natural photos throughout the day and had the time to create some stunning editorial portraits.
